Since my husband is/was wiohtut a job during our son’s first brithday party I knew that we couldn’t go all out and get everthing. However, it WAS his 1st birthday and I wanted it to be special!We had a prince themed party and I got so many compliments on our decorations. I spent less than $10 on all of his decorations. We planned ahead and made a gigantic throne out of cardboard that fit perfectly over his highchair for the cake mashing. Then I made other 1 s, castle’s and signs out of posters. It turned out really cute! It did take a lot of work/time, but that is why I planned ahead and starting working on the project 2 months in advanced.
